CNS SELF-DISCOVERY

CNS is a programme that we run in secondary schools to help young people understand who they are, where their potential lies and then start to work towards their future by coming up with ways to take action to address the problems they see in their community.

SELF-DISCOVERY WORKSHOPS

Four workshops on Definition One’s Identity and Planning for the Future, amongst other things, that secondary school students undertake to reflection more about who they are and who they want to be.

THINK-BIG CHALLENGE

The students are then challenged to identify problems that they see in their schools and local communities, then ideating solutions to these problems.

DREAM-SHARING EVENT

Students’ problem-solving ideas are presented at a large exhibition, where the best projects are awarded prizes. Mentors and role models then deliver speeches and panels to inspire the young people to keep pursuing their dreams.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT CLUB

With the support of our mentors, the students become members of Youth Empowerment Clubs at their schools, where they regularly meet to keep taking part in CNS- style activities while building their critical thinking skills.
