Kenya

Safer homes, steadier incomes and stronger community support.

The need

Why we work in Kenya

Many households in Kenya balance unstable incomes with rising living costs, and still cook with smoky fuels that affect health, especially for women and children. Where families have little cushion, a single shock can push children out of school or into unsafe situations.

Who we work with

Low-income households, women and children in urban and peri-urban communities.

How we work

Locally led, from the start.

We work through local partners and community leaders. Communities help decide priorities, take part in delivery and tell us what is working. Every programme follows Bridge For Change's safeguarding standards and local law.
